I. PROGRESS OF THE VACCINATION CAMPAIGN
1. Brief description of the progress of vaccination
-Some areas were very difficult to cover due to the current socio- political crisis, hence some villages were left out with no vaccination carried;the population
was displaced.
-Vaccination materials too small to carry out the exercise within the TADU village. The team leader and the staff had to buy some of the materials
e.gsyringes, needles and coolers from their resources.

will be able to solve the issue As seen above the on-going socio-political crisis was a major stumbling block to this campaign. Some
areas were inaccessible due to the fact that “amba boys” blocked the roads in some cases and others deliberately denied access to
these areas. Also, most villagers had fled due to the insecurity so they were dispersed making most of them unreachable. If the
government can speed up the activities aimed at restoring peace and security, future campaigns will be much more successful because a
huge majority of the villagers will be present and ready to participate.

The shortage of vaccination equipment shows that the resources provided for the campaign were insufficient. For future campaigns, the
resources should be provided in surplus so as to address the issue of surprise participants. As such if there are more participants than
anticipated, the surplus resources of shortage.
