Executive Summary
We, Filipinos, loves to eat foods at any time of the day. This is why the business is
aligned with food, specifically, a pancake business. Our product might look common for it is
sold by many business men and women but the pancake we are selling has unique features.
Aside from its luscious taste, we also planned to put fruits on the product, not as toppings buts as
an additional ingredient mixed with the pancake batter. We also offer the customers the freedom
to personalize their pancake based on the flavor and fruits they want.
Pancake business is quite mainstream nowadays. The problem is every pancake business
sells the same thing over and over. With our pancake business, we will capture the taste buds of
majority of Filipinos, may they be kids or adults, male or female. It will also attract those who
are always changing taste preferences and those who wants personalizing the food they eat
because of our offered “DIY” pancake flavor. Because our product is very affordable, unique and
delicious, the consumers will surely patronize the product.
Regular pancakes are great. But adding fruits directly to the pancake mixture is way
better than the plain one. This is why we can say that the business is attractive because it will
surely satisfy and capture the taste buds and the heart of the Filipino consumers. Being
personally involved with the food you eat is believed to be much more fulfilling than eating the
ones prepared by someone. That is why those who likes personalized, those who always change
taste preferences, and those who likes to eat the food they prepared will personally like our
products because of our DIY feature.
We, people, do not create new products but innovate existing products. This is what
makes our product distinct from others. Our product is different from their product in terms of
flavors and special offers. Using fruits not as toppings but as an additional ingredient to be mixed
directly to the pancake batter is a thing. But letting the customers have the freedom to create their
own mixture of fruits depending on the desired taste is another thing that can be considered as a
plus point for the business venture.
The product will be advertised using mainly social media sites as a channel or tool for
promotion. Through this, we can easily promote and let people know about the product. The
business will be operated home-based in the meantime. After regaining the used capital, the
owners are always ready for expansion. The business is expected to regain the capital within 3
months and be doubled immediately.
The plan is to start the business immediately after getting all the necessary requirements.
If the needed documents are processed and is finished until the first week of September, the
business will operate the next week. The decoration of the home-based business will take place
during the processing of papers and documents. Like what is stated earlier, the business will
expand after regaining the capital and it is expected to happen in a span of 1 month. This
indicates that by early week of January 2019, the new branch will be constructed.
The estimated cost of capital including all the needed expenses to start up a business is
Php. 1,000. Although the capital is quite big, it will be regained easily because of how consumers
are expected to react to the product. The cost of the product will range from Php 15.00 to Php
30.00 depending on the fruits and flavor they want. Profit is expected to be as high as Php 500
after regaining the capital. This estimated profit is possible to increase for about 15%-20% per
month because the owners will make sure to innovate and to think of ideas to attract the
consumers.

III. Product Plan
Purpose of the Product:
The company wanted to satisfy the cravings of Filipino consumers for something new.
Due to the demand of consumers for unique foods, we came up with our pancake product. With
this business, customers may choose between different readymade flavor mixtures or they can
personalize the flavor according to their wants.
Products Unique Features:
The product is unique in a way that fruits are mixed with the pancake batter instead of
doing the usual way of putting it on top of the pancake. We also offer the freedom to the
customers to create their own flavor and mixture.

Production Process:
1. Choose your flavor
Customers may choose from various offered flavor or they can create their own
flavor
2. Mix the Ingredients
Mix all the necessary ingredients. Keep in mind the flavor chosen by the
customers and any other request.
3. Cook the pancake batter
Make sure to cook the pancake at the right temperature and time to prevent
overcooked or undercooked product.
4. Serve
Serve the pancake with a smile plastered on the face. This will give customers a
good impression about the service of the business.

The above table shows how the demand increases rapidly every year but not even half of
it is the total supplies given and produced. This implies that despite having many competitors,
the business will still be saleable for it can help provide for the consumers’ demand at the same
time, it has unique features that will make it more attractive.
