Additional Responsibilities :- 2005 to till date

Being a member of Corporate Safety from M/s M.N.Dastur & Co. Ltd.- India,
responsibility of maintaining safety at all sites in India, periodical audit of different sites,
sending report to Head office in Kolkata.

Special focus on Tata BlueScope site at Jamshedpur following day to day activities
at site.

• Preparation of HSE manual

• Safety Induction Training to any new person at site.

• Conducting regular Tool Box Meeting.

• Pre-work briefing to the persons to be engaged before starting the job.

• Preparation of Job Safety Analysis for each and every job and train the persons as per
JSA (Job Safety Analysis).

• Preparation of erection procedure, Hazard analysis and risk assessment, different

checklist and onsite Emergency plan and rescue system and submitted to clients.

• Preparation of Commissioning procedure, Hazards analysis and risk assessment,

onsite Emergency plan and rescue system and submitted to client.
• Regular Safety Audit at site, identifying unsafe act and condition as per severity and
taken counter measures to make the site safe.

• Imparting special safety training like fire fighting, positive isolation training, working
at a height, scaffolding making and dismantling, behavioral safety, rescue and
evacuation etc. to the person s engaged at site.

• Liaison with client safety department and taken counter measures as per audit report
done by client safety department.

• Documentation on safety as per statutory requirement as well as requirement of

client safety document.

• Taken care of environmental aspects for day to day activities at site.

1. Management activities on Safety Awareness :

a). Conducting Safety meeting periodically. Preparation of minutes of the aforesaid

meeting, circulating it to all members & monitoring the job discussed of the above
meeting.

b). Conducting the Safety Slogan and poster competition in every year.

c). Preparation of safety slogan boards & making arrangement to fix them inside the
factory.

d). Conducting different safety & fire fighting training programme and seminars.

e). Conducting literacy program among workmen.

f). Conducting housekeeping & 5S training programme.

2. Management activities to keep the factory safe :

a) Monitoring the housekeeping inside the factory.

b) Conducting safety patrol & 5S audit periodically to identify unsafe acts & unsafe
condition inside the factory & making arrangement to rectify them to minimize the
accident potential of the hazards.

c) Estimating the hazards & accident potential of the dangerous operations, hazardous
substances stored, handled & used inside the factory & taking necessary steps to
keep safe environment.
d) Estimating the total fire hazards inside the factory & keeping necessary
arrangements for emergency control i.e. arrangement for refilling fire extinguishers,
servicing fire hydrant valves, periodical training to operate fire protective equipment,
servicing, fire hydrant pumps etc.

 a).CAREER ACHIEVEMENT

• Zero man hours lost due to accident from M/s M.N.Dastur & Co. Ltd. From
March 2005 till date to TATA BLUEScope site at Jamshedpur, though we
have completed 90% Civi, Mechanical, Erection work & 10% Commissioning
work.

Present Salary(CTC) - Rs. 4.27 Lakhs per annum.

Other facilities : - Site allowance, Free furnished Quarter, food allowance,

Mobile/Land phone allowance etc.
