    MY LAST THOUGHT

    Beyond the horizon where darkness God of all,


    looms If today I must drink from this cup full
    The wind carries sand from distant of bitterness
    desert dunes I will lay down my life for you,
    With echoes of cruelty and cries For this people I love
    unheard For the man who will come with a
    And evil that bears all the weight of knife
    the world In the dead of the night and will take
    my life from me
    A nighttime of hatred reigns in hearts
    and minds My last thought and my last prayer will
    The rage of injustice makes us all go be for you
    blind The friend I meet in my final moment
    The man who in fury takes the sword Who knows not what he's doing
    and fights You can be certain
    No longer sees it's a brother he strikes I forgive you from my heart
    May your bloodstained hands be washed All the world as he means it to be
    by these my tears Different peoples one family
    And may you only feel the presence In God's face I will finally discover
    Of a love you've never known The image of my face and that of my
    Love which I hope one day will grow brother

    Some people will think that death has be for you
    prevailed The friend I meet in my final moment
    They'll say love is weakness and mercy And in God's hands I leave you
