17 Again is a movie that will make you laugh and touch
your heart to the max. It delivers its message to the
viewers through effective ways. It also talks about family,
life and society and not just about understanding oneself.
After watching the movie, here are the inspiring lessons
that I’ve learned:
Make the best decision for yourself. In order to
make the best decision, you have to see yourself
in it. Every corner of your choices must be
analyzed in order for you to come up with the best
decision.
Everything happens for a reason.
You may feel tired right now, but never stop. Take
a rest and then life must go on again.
Respect yourself. There’s a scene in the movie
where Mike (the main character) talked to three
girls and told them to respect themselves before
expecting others to respect them.
Your family gives out the best of you.
Be accountable of your decisions.
Your decision for yourself in the present will give
impact to your future.
We are capable of making the best decision for
ourselves.
How do you apply the lessons?
I’ve learned a lot of lessons in the movie 17 Again.
However, learning a lesson is useless if you can’t apply it
to yourself. In order for it to be effective, it is best to apply
it and start living guided by it. It will help you to be a better
person and create best thing for yourself and other
people. Here are some ways that can help me apply the
lessons imparted by the movie:
Never make quick decisions for myself. I have to
analyze the consequences of every option I have.
If I don’t think critically, I may suffer later on.
Believe in God’s plan for me.
Continue the path that I’m taking which is I know
right for myself.
Respect myself. Respecting and loving myself are
the best gifts I can give for myself.
Never blame other people for my own decisions. It
is my decision, so I am accountable for it.
I don’t need many friends. You only need few
people who are always there to help you in your
darkest hour.
Love my family and friends.
My decision somehow helps define who am I. The
way how I make decision for myself and other
people gives a hint about my personality,
