1. Check all MV power cables are as per approved
material submittal.
2. Check all cables are clearly labelled at both end
with approved labels and at regular intervals

3. Check that approved material of crimping lugs


and accessories are used on all power cable

4. Check that all MV power cables installations


shall be done as per approved shop drawings and
manufacturer's instruction.
5. Check that each MV power cable reaches its
correct destination, enough length is provided for
dressing, temporary marking is place for easy
identification and both ends are sealed with heat
shrink end caps to prevent the ingress of water.
6. Check that MV power cables are laid in an
orderly manner to avoid crossing, correct spacing
is observed, and the minimum bending radius of
12 times the diameter of the MV power cable is
kept.
7. Check that no cable joint is installed without the
agreement and approval of authority and
approved termination kit is used.

for any damage or improper connections.
3. Ensure that barricade & warning boards on
the area are available prior to installation.
4. Ensure no obstacles in the area. Maintain
proper housekeeping.
5. Ensure all personnel performing the
installation shall have proper training &

installation are not damage.

to start work.
