SOP for Taking Online Exam

This SOP is inspired by Educational Testing Service (ETS), USA.

1. General Instructions

1.1. You should join the MS Team of your subject 30 minutes before the exam and
entry might be restricted 15 min prior to the start of the exam portion.
1.2. You will be asked to authenticate yourself, showing your ID cards, 360 degree
view of your room. You will join the meeting and remain connected in MS Teams
throughout your exam session with webcam turn on. The entire exam session will
be recorded on MS-Teams. You will be asked to share your location.
1.3. To prevent disturbance to the entire class/team, if there is any ambiguity during
the exam, students will communicate with their instructor/invigilator directly in a
private chat window at MS-Teams.
1.4. If you have intermittent internet connection, short questions/assignment answers
can be written on MS Word and pasted to LMS, prior to exam closing. This will
avoid possible time loss due to LMS log-outs.
1.5. In case of any other issue before the exam, please email your subject teacher at
least 24 hours before the exam. Unexpected internet/electricity failure must be
reported immediately to your subject teacher on their phone/email.
