SUBJECT: Igniter Sleeve Lower O-Rings
MODELS AFFECTED: AT27GL/275GL and GL+

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform the field
of new igniter sleeve lower O-rings available for
AT27GL/275GL and GL+ engines. The new O-rings
(P/N 295389G) can replace the current O-rings
(P/N 295389C) for service use only (see Figure 1).
The current igniter sleeve lower O-rings can
deteriorate due to inadequate sealing of the
admission valve connector, causing coolant
leakage into the cylinder sleeve (see latest
edition of Service Bulletin 9-2947 for admission
valve installation). The new lower O-rings are
capable of withstanding higher than normal
operating temperature of the engine.

NOTE: P/N 295389G O-rings are ink-stamped in
white with “INNIO 295389G.”
To install the new igniter sleeve upper and lower
O-rings:
1. Remove the igniter sleeve from the cylinder
head as described in the appropriate INNIO
Waukesha gas engine Repair & Overhaul
manual.
2. Remove the two igniter sleeve lower and two
upper O-rings and discard them.
3. Thoroughly clean the igniter sleeve grooves
and igniter sleeve cylinder head bore.
4. Lubricate the four O-rings using Parker
Super-O-Lube.
5. Install the four O-rings on the igniter sleeve
(see Figure 1).
6. Install the igniter sleeve as described in the
appropriate INNIO Waukesha gas engine
Repair & Overhaul manual.
