THE CULT AND SPORTS EXTRAVAGANZA

Zephyr is the annual cultural and sports fest of Satpura House. As part
of the fest, all the cultural clubs of the hostel organize various events which
enjoy massive participation by the residents of the hostel. This is the 4-day
period during which the hostel is decorated in full deck and splendor with a
festive atmosphere where all 500 residents of the hostel have a memorable
time.
Zephyr historically has had enthusiastic participation from all residents
of the hostel, even those who were not active in any particular club or
activity. Every event is well attended with sizable audience for each event.
As the hostel is home to wide variety of students ranging from under-
graduates to post-graduates to Ph. D.s, thus the participants of the
events are varied. This is the highlight of the hostel life as in this time,
everyone is participating in some event or the other, in a sense of bonhomie
and fun.
This year, Zephyr will be held from 21st to 24th Jan 2010. There will be
18 events Cultural and 4 Sports events.

BENEFITS

• Sponsors will be guaranteed unmatched visibility among all residents of

hostel for 4 consecutive days during the fest
• Publicity of the fest will extend across the campus through posters,
banners etc
• Sponsors will be also given the option of having a stall for publicity, sale
etc.
• Since the publicity will be done at the place of residence of the students
at the most frequently visited places in the hostel such as the lobby,
dining hall, common room etc, your brand will surely get exposure to the
residents of the hostel
• Sponsors will also have options to hold workshops or talks to advertise
their products and services
