SOCIOLOGY CODE OF ETHICS FOLDABLE

*See the sample hanging on the board—DO NOT COPY MY DRAWINGS!

1. Follow the directions for making a foldable (on the back of this sheet).
2. On the flap, label each section with a study (listed below).
3. On the outside of the foldable, draw images illustrating the four studies:
a. Stanford Prison Experiment
b. Milgram Obedience Experiment
c. Asch Line Test
d. Hawthorne Study
4. Inside each flap of the foldable, include the following:
a. Basic facts on the top half of the flap:
i. When was it
ii. Where was it
iii. Who was in charge
iv. Why was it done
v. How was it done
b. Other information, as applicable, on the bottom half of each flap,
such as:
i. Ethics violations
ii. Who were the subjects
iii. Findings of the studies
iv. Links to other events (such as Abu Ghraib, Game of Death,
etc.)
5. NUMBER YOUR FACTS. There should be at least 6-10 on each flap,
including the basic facts (five PLUS the other information).
6. HOMEWORK:
a. NO PENCIL—use pen or marker! If you used pencil, GO OVER it.
b. All drawings should be colored.
c. EXTRA CREDIT:
i. print out photos from the studies (these can be in black &
white)
ii. TYPE ALL INFO and glue it to the foldable (DO NOT USE LIQUID
GLUE—use a glue stick!)
7. ON THE BACK: write your first and last name, a title, and the date!
