Principles of operation
MOVILINK 16 is a ground station with Link
16 capability developed for testing and
evaluating the performance of Link 16
Platforms and for supporting Link 16 trials.
MOVILINK is a NATO-II shelter that
integrates a MIDS-LVT and all its ancillary
equipments.

The shelter is equipped with two Telescopic Link 16 antenna integrated

PCs to run the MIDS-LVT control and Equipped with air conditioner and fridge
management software applications:
SMART 16, EVALINK16 and Terminal
Exerciser. Possible

MOVILINK 16 incorporates a rack RF

integrating the MIDS-LVT Terminal, the TE Support
Discrete Control Box (CVD), two rack Smart 16 port
mounting PCs, cooling supply and a power
supply control drawer.
Or MIDS LVT MIDS LVT HOST
EVALINK16 and SMART16 add to the
MOVILINK16 a full Link16 TDL testing
capability on the field.
Evalink16
MOVILINK 16 is currently being used by
the Spanish military forces as an additional
Link16 testing capability.
