- Start making some questions using the photos to remember places of the city.

Ask them if
there is a place like this near their house.

- Show them a map and ask where the place is.

- Tell them there other expressions we can use to talk about the location of the places. Teach
them vocab 1.

- Go back to the image and ask:

What is across from the park?

What is down the street from the Korean restaurant?

What is around the corner from the park?

What is between the school and the newsagent?

- Tell them that I don’t know the city, so if someone tells me the bank is next to the
supermarket I will not know how to get there. I would need a lit bit more information. That’s
why we can give directions teaching the person how to get to the places. Show the vocab
and teach.

- Go back to the imagine and going from the start point ask them to give directions how to
get to some places.
