    Past Continuous

    ¿QUE ES?

    El pasado continuo es un tiempo real que se refiere a una acción en el pasado que estaba en
    desarrollo.
    Ej: Estaban cantando – They were singing

    ¿COMO SE USA?
    Se utiliza cuando queremos especificar algo que estaba ocurriendo en un momento determinado en
    el pasado.

    Ej: Mientras yo estaba viendo televisión, mi hermana estaba cocinando.


    While I was watching TV, my sister was cooking.
    1. Affirmative Sentences (Oraciones afirmativas)

    Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to be) + verbo+ing.

    I WAS COOKING

    2. Negative Sentences (Oraciones negativas)

    Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to be) + “not” + verbo+ing.

    I WAS NOT COOKING

    3.  Interrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)

    Verbo auxiliar (to be) + sujeto + verbo+ing?

    WAS I COOKING ?
