 THE LIFE CYCLE OF THE BUTTERFLY

The butterfly goes through different stages in its life before it becomes a colorful and beautiful butterfly.

Stage one - The mother butterfly lays eggs on a plant.

Stage two - The baby caterpillars hatch out of the eggs, and spend most of their time eating leaves and growing
they grow.

Stage three - The caterpillars change their skin to make a chrysalis where they live for some time.

Last stage - The caterpillar inside the chrysalis changes and becomes a butterfly. When the butterfly is ready, it
comes out of the chrysalis and flies away.
