office a clarification with regard to the payment of penalties of expanded withholding
tax and documentary stamp tax for the property located at Pioneer Highlands Condo
__________, Mandaluyong with title no.s CCT No. 7928 and CCT No.6027.

We are the purchasers of the said property from PDIC, the latter being the
appointed receiver of Export and Industry Bank, Inc. by reason if its bankruptcy.

demanded from us, as the new owners of the property.

With all due respect, we are humbly requesting your kind office not to include the
penalties for the transfer of property from Universal Rightfield Property ______ Inc.
to Export and Industry Bank, Inc. First, we are not a party to the said transaction, and
thus, we should not be held liable for any penalties that have incurred prior to the
transfer of the title of the property in our name. It must be noted that we, being the
highest bidder, are buyers in good faith by virtue of the sale from PDIC. In any case,
the penalties incurred prior to the aforementioned sale was not due to our own
negligence but rather must be imputed to the parties to the previous transaction,
namely Universal Rightfield Property and Export and Industry Bank, Inc.

Currently, we are being fined for Given the premises, we are humbly requesting
your kind office to deduct the penalties in the amount of…. or at the very least, give
us due consideration by reducing said penalty. Rest assured, we are willing to comply
