SOP 5: PANDEMIC CASE CONFIRMED IN SODEXO FACILITIES OPERATIONS

1. Inform the clients and suspend the operations immediately. Sodexo deep cleaning team is
required for cleaning and disinfecting of all equipment and counter area. The cleaning
procedures should follow the guidelines recommended by Local Health Authorities.

2. In the meantime, the affected staff should seek medical consultation. They are not permitted
to return to work until a professional diagnosis has been delivered and they are cleared to
safely return to work.

3. The Reliever Team member should replace the affected personnel immediately, it may be
necessary to adjust the manpower allocation and working hour.

Reliever Team member: Staff required according to job scope category to be replaced.

4. On-site staff cleared by the doctor should return to work immediately.

5. The reliever team can be released if no further support is required.

Advisory Precaution Measures against Novel Coronavirus (NCOV):


 Avoid contact with live animals including poultry and birds, and consumption of raw and undercooked
meats;
 Avoid crowded places and close contact with people who are unwell or showing symptoms of illness;
 Observe good personal hygiene;
 Practise frequent hand washing with soap (e.g. before handling food or eating, after going to toilet, or
when hands are dirtied by respiratory secretions after coughing or sneezing);
 Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough or shortness of breath;
 Cover your mouth with a tissue paper when coughing or sneezing, and dispose the soiled tissue paper
in the rubbish bin immediately; and
 Seek medical attention promptly if you are feeling unwell.
