Day1

 L.O: Think about what would be interesting to write

about. Practice writing about themselves.

 Develop an idea and basic sentence describing a

past event.

 Write a dew simple sentences in correct time

order.

 Read and show understanding of passage.

Assignment 1  

1. Write a short passage (as much as student are

comfortable with) 1 page maximum in creative writing
exercise book. Choose from the following ideas or use
their own idea based on a real past event. Describe a
time when

 A trip to somewhere interesting.

 A birthday celebration.

2. Read pages 80-83 of the Anthology. (Our class trip to
the Animal Park).

L.O: Learn to recount main events from a piece of text.

 Extract specific information from a piece of text.

 Read instructions to complete activities

Assignment 1
1. Recall main events from “Our Class Trip to the Animal
park”.
 Try to describe particular events in more detail. E.g.
‘Rosa spilling her drink’, ‘Seeing the different animals’
‘plastic spider incident.
2. Complete page 84 of the activity book
