- unlimited track count, means there is no limit for example how many audio tracks or
other there can be. To get more tracks just duplicate tracks when at track limit
instead of adding tracks to pass limit.
Some notes:
- Roland cloud vst2 plugins are buggy, so vst3 version only must be used and load
them to instrument rack, not to instrument track. It is common cubase problem that
some vst2 plugins can cause crashes, so use vst3 versions if available
- Factory templates are buggy, starting from empty project is better option
- Need to input chord type with MIDI keyboard or Cubase keyboard in chord track
- Sampler track will not work with Elements 8 trial license, it would require Elements
9 or later version trial
- Crashes if note expression or Render in place is accessed. Crashes if in chord
definition window 2nd or 3rd column is accessed, use midi input in that window.
- Native addon fx plugins like roomworks se is better not to use, so use builtin
channel strip plugins only or own vst3 or quality vst2 plugins
- There was serious mistake in previous version documentation, so instead of
renaming Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content folder,
correct folder to rename is Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Steinberg
folder. And this should be done always when installing any Steinberg apps, since
folder is recreated by installation apps. If this step is ignored there will be random
crashes. And folder to rename is not Users/“username”/Library/Application Support/
Steinberg folder, that one is wrong one. Correct one is at root level Library where
OSX is installed.
