AFFIDAVIT

I, Zahoor Shah son of Mr. H. Gulam Nabi Shah, aged about 48 years
resident of Barzalla, Baghat, Srinagar, presently at New Delhi, do hereby
solemnly declare and State as follows:-

1. That I am the Proprietor of the Appellant Company in the above

matter and being well conversant with the facts and circumstances of the
present case am competent to depose this Affidavit in support of the
Application for waiver of the condition of pre-deposit of duty amount.

2. That the accompanying Application filed has been drafted by my

counsel as per my instructions. I have read and understood the contents
of the accompanying Application and state that the same are true and
correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.

VERIFICATION

Verified at New Delhi on this th day of June, 2001 that the contents of
my above affidavit are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and
belief, no part of it is false and nothing material has been concealed
therefrom.
