Expectations for Distance Learning
How to Be Successful with Online Learning
Mrs. Button’s Individual Expectations:
This is new territory for all of us, so mistakes will happen. Please be patient and do your best!
1. Time Management: Try your best to log on to your chromebook and Zoom following the bell
schedule listed above. Refer to your Zoom Schedule posted on Google Classroom each Month.
Attendance must be taken daily so time management is extremely important
2. Staying in Tune: Check you Email and Google Classroom Everyday. Announcements will be
frequent.
3. Constant Communication: Email me or Contact me via Remind immediately if you have issues
or concerns.
4. Engagement: My hope is to make everyone feel included and involved in my class, even if it's
distant. Please contribute to discussion and give your opinion. I love hearing from you, that’s
what makes the classes so fun. This will be a learning process for us all but we can do it!
5. Comfort: This might be one of the most important expectations of all. We are living in
unpredictable times and I want school to be your happy place, even if you’re not here physically.
I can’t stress enough the importance of feeling comfortable in my classes, so please do not
hesitate to reach out to me.
