I am pleased to be writing about my interest and desire to become a member of the Fairbanks

Memorial Hospital through the advertisement on the provided website. In specific, I am

interested in the RN Emergency Department (Day) position however, I would be pleased to be

considered for any related positions.

The following qualities are those that I have acquired and feel as if they will benefit the

organization, making me the ideal candidate for the position.

 As an employed full time student as well as occupying a full time job (40 hours per

week), I was able to effectively manage my time whilst maintaining a 3.67 academic

grade point average. Through managing these difficult duties, I have developed many

noteworthy skills, such as but not limited to: patient connection, critical problem solving

and independent decision making among many more.

 With a devotion to providing safe and quality care to patients and families, I am able to

effectively educate, communicate and comfort patients. I am capable of maintaining a

level of care with passion, calmness and organization. Additionally, I am able to accept

responsibility for my own professional methods.

  Through clinical rotations in geriatric care, medical surgical units, psychiatric units and

obstetrics and gynecology, I have personally practiced these skills in emergent situations

and under extreme pressure.

Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from the prestigious Grand Canyon

University and plan to pass the NCLEX within the following months of graduation. I have no

doubt in the skills and knowledge I have been prepared with that I can effectively demonstrate

these abilities within this organization in the Emergency Department. I look forward to the

opportunity presented to me.
