Project Title : Angel’s burger Computerized Inventory System

Client/Organization : Angel’s Burger

Business Address : Tabaco Rd, Tabaco City, Albay

Contact Person : Joseph Mojica

: Victoria Mojica

Contact Number : 09351711506

Business Profile:

Angel’s Burger was started by husband-and-wife Joseph and Victoria Mojica in 1997, after
their previous goto and bulalo food venture proved unprofitable. Where did Angel’s Burger get
its name? The business was actually named after their first daughter, Angelica.

The burger chain started out with only five outlets but quickly grew to several locations in
just a couple of years. In 1999, after acquiring knowledge from America and experimenting with
the burger’s recipe, the couple revamped Angel’s Burger into the brand we now know and
made it available for franchising.

Vision:

To be recognized and respected as the most successful franchise company in the

Philippines.

Mission:
FFI is committed to uplifting the lives of every Filipino by providing totally reliable and
competitively superior products, empowering him with the business knowledge to become a
successful business owner by fostering customer enthusiasm through the integration of people,
technology and business systems.
Nature of Business:
Angel’s burger is one of the most Filipinos most affordable food place to go to whenever
they are on a strict budget. Their popular buy-1-take-1 burger is the key as to why they had
succeeded in the market-considering the tough competitions and other deals out there.
Their food products were offered in reasonable prices, while the taste was well-maintained.
Because of this fact, a lot of customers have been fond of purchasing from the store even
though the burgers had small patties. Moreover, each branch’s location is ideal which makes it
easy to call in hungry customers who need a cheap, yet value-for-money meal.

As the self-proclaimed “Burger ng Bayan”, the brand takes pride in its affordable food
offerings. Most kiosks are strategically located on street corners to make them more accessible
to those looking for a quick but inexpensive meal. Their flagship product, the Buy 1 Take 1
burger, is hugely popular among Filipinos because of its value for money.

Angel’s Burger’s menu varies from one kiosk to another but here are some of their
consistently available food products:

 Buy 1 Take 1 burger (plain)

 Buy 1 Take 1 cheeseburger
 Ham sandwich
 Ham and cheese sandwich
 Ham and egg sandwich
 Meatloaf sandwich
 Hotdog sandwich

To make sure that the burgers maintain good taste and quality, Angel’s Burger partnered
with San Miguel Pure Foods – Great Food Solutions Inc. (GFS) to consistently supply flour,
cheese, burger patties, and San Mig Coffee 3-in-1 mix to its food stalls.

Rationale
The Angel’s Burger has been planning all year long about enhancing their service by means
of providing efficient software for the advantages of its customers and employees. The service
that the business wanted to enhance is the inventory system because they are operating it
manually. In 21 years of existence, it never had the prospect to seek out a faster, economical,
and efficient means of processing inventory data.
The Angel’s burger is exerting its efforts to realize an improved quality of service they
supply through the computerization of inventory program. It acknowledges and upholds the
utmost participation of individuals within the service development. Development within the
service of inventory occurs without the complete participation of the people. Human resource
is the most significant resources that the business has. With this, the requirement to develop a
computer-based inventory system was identified. Therefore, the necessity for its development
is incredibly prevalent, thus the requirement of providing this project proposal is so desired.

inventories fast, smooth and secured.
Specific:
To develop a module that will easy to monitor the stocks and easy to generate a report.
 The proponent should create a module that were monitor fast and easy the entire
product inside the storage/stock room and the same time to easy to generate a report.

Brief Description of the Proposed Inventory System

 It includes company profile, how they perform application and problem areas. It is
computerized system that will reduce errors and cost by saving time using data more
effectively.
 In the manual inventory system, a company needs to go through a lot of work to do and
the process is done one by one. However, on the automated inventory system it’s just a
button/click keyboard away to access the records of transactions.
 Manual is a definition of something to work with a lot of exerting efforts by hands, and
are not the most efficient and good. It’s a lot of work before you get the outcome.
Whereas the automated system is derived from “automation” meaning that is machine-
driven by a person or machine controlled with little or very less exertion of efforts, this
makes easier to generate an output.

Problems of the Existing Inventory System

 Lack of storage
 Manual system is also slow to operate
 Time consuming
 Slow retrieval of data
Scope and Limitations of the Proposed System
 Scope
Scopes of the system are the following:
 Security
 The system has a capability to secure and retrieve a password of
admin/user if he/she remembered their pin code.
 Inventory
 The system has a capability to easy to inventory all the products in the
storage room
 Generation of report
 The system has a capability to accurate generation of reports
 File Maintenance
 The system includes file maintenance that would automatically add,
delete, save, update, and retrieve information of files.
 To be able to know the remaining stocks.
 To be able to know what are the items are going to pull out for slow
moving.
 To be able to know how much items are already sold.
 To be able to know what product are in critical stage.

 Limitation
Limitation of the system are the following:
 Some data are not based on the database.
 Can show all information about each product.
 Not an online transaction
 No major credit card transaction during payment, only cash payment.
 The proposed system is intended only for Angel’s Burger Company.

Expected Results of the Proposed System

At the end of the development period, the system shall have been to:
