Please give a short description of your organisation/group (regular activities, member of, etc.):
Ministry's mission is to develop and implement national policy for youth and sport, determination the strategic guidelines for development
and continuous upgrading of the institutional system in the field, creating the conditions for the participation of youth in the political,
economic, social and cultural life of the country, promoting physical culture and sports, education and professional development of
human resources in the system of youth and sport.
6. The basic functions of the Ministry are:
A) develop, promote and ensure the implementation of state policies for youth, culture and sport;
2) strategic planning, analysis, monitoring and evaluation of policies developed, comprehensive examination of the social,
economic, financial, etc.. thereof;
3) development and implementation of effective mechanisms for creating and developing social services for youth;
4) evaluation and monitoring access and quality of youth services and measures for their improvement;
5) connecting youth policy priorities and needs of the country's European integration;
6) providing training and improving the training of specialists in the field of youth and sport by working towards this end with
institutions and professional bodies in the country and abroad;
7) the regulation of the youth services;
8) develop independently or in collaboration with other institutions and organizations, research and education in youth and
sports;
9) ensuring an appropriate framework for social protection of youth and young families;
10) cooperation with local authorities on the development and implementation of local strategies in youth and sports;
11) coordinating activities and working with youth and sports organizations to promote national and international policies in the
field;
12) cooperation with other central and local government authorities, civil society to achieve the mission and policies of the
Ministry of Youth and Sports;
13) represent state interests in various international bodies, in accordance with international agreements and other arrangements
set out in the field of youth and sport, within the powers granted by the Government under the legislation.
