PQE COURSE FEE: £5,500 per annum (excluding ICS registration /exam entry fees)

Exemptions:
Candidates are advised to apply directly to the Chartered Institute of Shipbrokers for validation of any relevant
professional or educational qualifications.

Entry Requirements:
All candidates must be at least 18 years old, IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.0 in each component) GSCEs required: 3 GCSEs at
Grade C or above in English, Mathematics or Business Studies and Humanities or equivalent qualifications.

ICS Student Membership:


Candidates need to register as students of the Institute first and then complete an examination form.

ICS Foundation - Fees: £2,750)

The Diploma is ideal for candidates with little industry experience. A good introduction into the shipping industry, it involves
taking the subject: Introduction to Shipping plus one of the Group Two subjects that we offer, these being: Dry Cargo
Chartering, Tanker Chartering, Multimodal Transport & Logistics, Liner Trades and Port & Terminal Management.

ICS Advanced Diploma (AD) - Fees (£2,750)


(Student Visitor Visa)
This Diploma is ideal for candidates with some shipping knowledge. It involves taking the ICS benchmark paper subject:
Shipping Business plus one of the Group Two subjects that we offer, these being: Dry Cargo Chartering, Tanker Chartering,
Multi-modal Transport & Logistics, Liner Trades and Port & Terminal Management.

Assessment: Exams are held annually around the world in April and November.
