 Objetivo/s de las actividades:


 Aprender a expresar eventos en el pasado usando “verbos
irregulares”.
 Conjugar verbos “irregulares” en forma afirmativa y
negativa.
 Uso del auxiliar del pasado: “Did…? / didn`t”
 Escuchar una canción y clasificar verbos regulares e
irregulares en pasado simple.
 Escribir oraciones.
 Buscar palabras desconocidas en el diccionario para ampliar el vocabulario de la L2.

1. This is the trailer of “High Strings” a movie who tells the story of a dancer and a
violinist in New York. Read the text and complete with the correct form of the verbs
in (brackets) in Past Simple:

Ruby Adams (Keenan


Kampa) was a dancer
from the Midwest on
scholarship. She lived
with a friend in an
apartment in New York
City. Johnny Blackwell
(Nicholas Galitzine) was
a musician. He (1) came
(come) from England. He played for money in the subway
tunnels. Ruby's world was classical and disciplined; Johnnie's
was improvisational and street smart. One day, they (2) met (meet) in the subway. Ruby
(3) threw (throw) money in Johnny`s violin case. They watched each other and since that

One day, they walked along the street, when suddenly a robber (5) stole (steal) Johnny`s
