Professional profile
I’m Petroleum Engineer with high-level of knowledge in Gas industry, enthusiastic and passionate about to
optimize systems and process.

I worked as a practicing engineer in Bajo Grande Refinery controlling pumping station of heavy oil, also I
worked as a President in Society Petroleum engineers student chapter, using my knowledge in Control and
organization, I’m a good candidate because I Know how to manage groups and making plans, I’m an
outstanding controller because I never have failed and I have gotten good grades, good outcomes and
perfect scores, I’m a leader by nature, I search control, accuracy and organization due to that is success
clue.

Education & qualifications

 GAS ENGINEERING MAGISTER, 17/20 – ZULIA UNIVERSITY – 2015-2018
 PETROLEUM ENGINEER, 16/20 – ZULIA UNIVERSITY – 2007-2014
 RESERVOIR ENGINEERING DIPLOMA, 19/20– RAFAEL BELLOSO CHACIN UNIVERSITY – 2011

Career summary
March 2014 PDVSA - Bajo Grande Refinery -Venezuela
Petroleum Engineer Intern
Outline
As a Practicing engineer in this job I was group manager in charge to determine vessels and pumps actual
status, I did and accuracy evaluation and for that reason I changed the pumping system applying a new
software, also I handled serious problems in storage tanks due to oil spills and I learnt how to manage
them.

Key responsibilities
 Evaluation of pumping system, evaluation of flow vessels, control of leaks and oil spills, system
optimization using control software and diagnostic screw leader also In PDVSA I learnt how to use
Pipephase and Pipesim doe to and Schlumberger agreement.
 Using my new system we were capable to pumping efficiently because the previous system it
wasn’t update, also I was recognised as the best screw leader so I tried to change every single
process to optimize it.

Key achievements/projects
 I improved the pumping in almost 40%, and I designed a new flow system to optimize space, I
investigated the way to recover old pumps to improve the budget and I was in charge to apply new
heats exchanger due to API oil decreased, and my screw installed successfully every heat exchanger
in the field of Bajo Grande Refinery.

January 2011 – February 2014 SPE, Society of Petroleum Engineer - Venezuela

Student Chapter President
Outline
As a president of the Society petroleum engineer student chapter for 4 years successive, I managed a group
of students and teachers to improve and to update our knowledge in the oil and gas industry, handling
coordinations to control efficiently every event.

Key responsibilities
 In charge of finding solutions as academic lectures, courses, workshops, events, conferences and
social activities for all students in west oil schools .
 I was the Creator of MTP event (oil Technical month) in my school which is celebrated every year as
a typical event in my school in this event we presented and Overview of oil and drilling, Geological
reservoir characterization, Introduction to Well Control, Cementing wells Overview of drilling,
evaluation of exploratory wells, workshops of Pipephase, PIPESIM and OFM, New technologies in
BCP, Workshop underbalanced drilling, Applications and techniques for the analysis of well-
reservoir models in the petroleum industry, Industrial safety, occupational health and environment
for the formation of petroleum engineers.
 I was recognized in my country as the best president of the whole student chapters in Venezuela’s
universities, for that reason I want to be part of your organization because I know that I’ll become
in a valuable assets for you.

Surveys Researches and Workshop 2010-2018

 Thesis: “METODOLOGY TO PREDIT LIQUID SLUG IN DEPLETED GAS WELLS” 2018, With this
research a series of methods will be established to predict at what moment the liquid begins to
accumulate in tune with a mathematical approach or model that will predict the size of the column
needed to stop the production of the well
 Thesis: “DESIGN OF A VELOCITY STRING IN PRODUCING GAS WELLS” 2014, Zulia University,
Degree Thesis for the title of Petroleum Engineer, This paper is focused on determining a
methodology for the design of a velocity string, which solves the problem of liquid loading in
producing gas wells. For this methodology, a number of steps and equations was developed, to
obtain an optimal velocity string design.
 Thesis: “SELF-SUSTAINABLE COMPLEX FOR ELECTRICAL GENERATION IN MARACAIBO CITY” 2012,
NORBERTO ODEBRECHT FUNDATION, Caracas, In this regard, I proposed the creation of a complex
self-sustaining for power generation from biogas and electricity needed to generate much of Zulia
households, based on the volume of waste generated by the city of Maracaibo, can determine not
only the amount of gas generator cells and their design, but also the volumes of gas available. I was
an ODEBRECHT participant award for sustainable development research on self-sustaining energy
generation
 ZULIA UNIVERSITY (LUZ) Zulia 2007-2014, Venezuela
Leader of Peace (application program in classrooms, declaring tolerance, respect for dissent to human
person)
 VENEZUELAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE, 2007, Mérida, Venezuela
Winner of the National Youth Science Festival with the paper “Biodigesters and Chemical Changes
A Non-Detrimental Energy Production Alternative for the Environment from Residual Wet Biomass”

Software (PIPESIM, PIPEPHASE, PRO II, ECLIPSE, MATLAB, MICRO AND OFFICE)
