Madamv/Sir, With reference to the subject mentioned above, I am directed to say that matter related to delay in internship training session due to Covid-19 pandemic had been placed before the 5" meeting of Education Committee of Council held on 24.07.2020. Considering the recommendation of Education Committee and seriousness of the situation, the BoG members decided the following guidelines: 1. Each candidate shall be required to complete compulsory internship of one year duration. The students can be posted in college hospitals if the same is operating well. If the college hospital is not functioning properly due to Covid-19, the students may be posted in the nearby Govt. Homoeopathic hospitals of the concerned states/nearby Research Council's hospital (CCRH Hospital) for the purpose of internship training in modern hospital/CHC/PHC/rural Hospital 2. Im the States where Modern hospital posting is allowed, this practice has to be continued. If the hospital is not in reachable distance, the student can be given permission for selecting nearby PHC/CHC/Rural Hospital/District Hospital/Civil Hospital or any Govt. hospitals of Modem medicine. In the States where the 12 months internship is compulsorily in the hospitals of homoeopathic colleges, the students can be posted in the various specialty units of nearby Govt. Homoeopathic hospitals. 4, The students studying in the States other than their native states are given permission to do internship in their native States obeying the rules and regulations mentioned above (Clause 1 & 2). In such cases no fee should be collected from them by the State Government. 5. These guidelines are only for period till lockdown condition due to Covid prevails in the country and farther guidelines will be issued accordingly.
