past participle of the verbs. So, you will watch the following video to remember and
practice the listening and the pronunciation of some words:

Examples.

1-Already:

they have already finished their homework (ya han acabado sus trabajos)

Peter has already left work (Peter ya ha se ha ido del trabajo)

The train has already arrived (el tren ya ha llegado)

2- Just

Where’s Jacob? He is just left. (¿Donde está Jacob? Acaba de irse.)

Betty has just moved to New York. (Betty acaba de trasladarse a Nueva York.)

3- Still

They still have not finished their homework. (Todavía no han acabado sus
deberes.)

4- Yet

I am hungry. I have not eaten yet. (Tengo mucha hambre. Todavía no he comido.)

Jacob hasn’t left his job at the hospital yet. (Jacob todavía no se ha ido de su
trabajo en el hospital.)

ACTIVITIES:

1- Make phrases in present perfect with the following verbs using the before
expression

WORKED = Antonio and I have worked at the school since10 years.


BRUSHED = I have been brushing for 3 minutes on medical advice.
EATEN = Camila has already eaten on the bus this morning.
LISTENED = Cesar hasn't listened Pedro's comments yet.
GONE = We has gone to the zoo when we just had lunch.
STUDIED = Have I ever studied calculus at home or at school?
READ = they have read that book since elementary school.
BEEN = I've been running in the park for 3 hours
SENT= Natalia has already sent the letters for the Spanish and English
companies

11. I know you have not seen a lion SINCE you were in Africa. = Sé que tu
no has visto un león desde que estabas en África.

12. He has been ill SINCE last month. = Él se ha enfermado desde el mes
pasado.

13. She has not spoken to me, not even a work SINCE our last meeting. =

14. I haven´t phoned my parents FOR a week. = Yo no he llamado a mis

desde las cuatro y media.

19. They have lived in New York FOR nearly a year. = Ellos han vivido en
Nueva York por casi un año.

20. The weather has been awful SINCE the beginning of the year. = El
clima ha sido horrible desde principios de año.

21. He has been working on that project SINCE 19th March. = Él ha estado
trabajando en ese proyecto desde el 19 de marzo.
