Do Now/Hook:
 Discuss the qualities that make a good team (e.g. balance and 15 min
variation in skills, good communication, trust, openness,
constructive conflict)  these are examples/ starting points to start
the conversation.
 Ask students to consider how and why each dream team poster is
different. Sit in a circle and share ideas.
 This gives an opportunity to emphasize that we can all continue to
learn and develop (growth mindset) and part of working as a team
is that you can learn from the strengths of others too.

Direct Instruction/Modeling:
 Hang the dream posters on the walls and let students do a gallery 10 min
walk to see each one up close.
 Tell them that throughout the course, they will develop even more
strengths and qualities that are extremely useful while working in
teams to solve challenges.

is. 15 min
 Ask students to come up to the whiteboard and write down the
problems they think that affect Hong Kong negatively (this was left
as homework last class).
 Additionally, after gathering their responses, I will cover 3 main
issues I have identified by researching on the internet and talking
with locals: Housing (shortage of suitable land), Friendly facilities
for elderly and people with disabilities , Environmental protection.
 I will use pictures and videos to introduce these issues as the
terminology might be too complicated for the students to fully
comprehend.

Wrap up/Closure: After talking about the main social issues in Hong 3 min
Kong, I will ask students to rank in a piece of paper, how important
each issue is for them (e.g. 1= Housing, 2= Environment pollution,
3=Facilities for elderly). I will collect their answers and use them to
put them into groups as the main goal of the course is for them to try to
solve those problems through entrepreneurship.
