Abstract:
BASIS The researcher conceptualized a comparative assessment of
FOR TRAINING PLAN
on-the-job training in the readiness of the graduates in their employability.
This study measured the effectiveness of internship program in the
employability and readiness of the graduates.

The type of assessment used was the distribution of survey and

questionnaires to the thirty different supervisors of a five-star hotel in Manila
Bay area and thirty graduates from the Polytechnic College of the City of
Meycauayan formerly Mariano Quinto Alarilla Polytechnic College.

This study is hoping to add contribution to the awareness and knowledge

about the effectiveness of internship program, to the different institutions
and organizations, to the field of academe, that this may be a benchmark in
improving the curriculum of the course and the possible enhancement of the
training plans provided by the industry.
