7.1 Inspect external electrical rescue hoist as follows: 0.4 A B

Reel out entire length of rescue hoist cable.


Check cable for corrosion, kinks, separated strands, wear, and
broken or frayed wires. Pay particular attention to area around
hook.
Reel-in hoist cable. Use glove to protect hand while tensioning
cable. While reeling, wipe cable with clean heavy cloth.

7.2 Perform an operational check of medical interior equipment. 0.5 A B

7.3 Accomplish the following portions of the Digital Automatic Flight 0.2 A B
Control System (DAFCS) Fault Isolation Procedures (FIP):
Ensure DAFCS Setup Equipment Conditions (with the exception
of leveling the helicopter) are met.
Perform DAFCS Setup Procedure.
Perform DAFCS Status Procedure.
Perform DAFCS IBIT Procedure.
Perform all DAFCS Shutdown Procedure steps.
7.4 Inspect for foreign object damage and ensure all access panels, 0.1 A B
cowlings, and doors opened or removed for this inspection are
closed or installed.
