1. Chapter 1: Waves Ripple tank, wooden bar, Perspex plates of 5 sets of apparatus

To investigate the refraction of water waves

2. Chapter 2: Electricity Switch, voltmeter (0-3 V), 5 sets of apparatus

ammeter ( 0-3 A), rheostat (0-15 Ω),
To investigate the relationship between electric current and 10 cm constantan wire (s.w.g. 34),
potential difference crocodile clips, connecting wire,
dry cells (2 × 1.5 V) and battery holder.

3. Chapter 2: Electricity 5 sets of apparatus

To investigate the relationship between electromotive force, E Voltmeter, ammeter, rheostat, switch,
and the internal resistance, r of a battery connecting wires, two dry cells and battery
holder.

4. Chapter 3: Electromagnetism 5 sets of apparatus

Long iron rod (or nail), insulated (PVC)
To investigate the factors that affect the strength of the magnetic coppper wire, power suppy, ammeter (0-5A),
filed of an electromagnet rheostat (0 – 15 Ω), retort stand, clamps, paper
clips and beaker.
