The fact that only few parties had
Women and Gender and Development Programs, signifies the need to proliferate these kinds of programs and the contention of those big political parties that there is no need for a “WEF” to particularly support these programs in my opinion is a wrong contention, a reason that these programs are underappreciated is the lack of funds and that the party sees it as less significant to support. If this proposed legislation would be successfully enacted it would trigger a domino effect, inspiring other parties to emulate and create such Programs, since it was backed and mandated by jurisprudence. Hence, through the proliferation of these kinds of programs would empower women and would have a positive feedback to the Philippine governance due to the mandated and supported integration of women within the government.
