and Conservation of Environment is my own credible record work did
at Kapilvastu Integrated Development Services, Sunshine Social
Development Center and Shree Sunshine Community Basic School as
necessities of LPU venture for the honor of level of BBA(Information
Technology). Under the direction of Ms.Kamala Shukla and Mr.
Shivlal Yadav (Program Coordinators), during June to July 2019. All
the information, data and photos proof outfitted in this incubation project
report is based on my own intensive work.

 INTRODUCTION OF NGO

Kapilvastu Integrated Development Services (KIDS) established

as a NGO in Kapilvastu District on 31st August 2005 and affiliated
With Social Welfare Council on 20 March, 2007. KIDS was established
by the local community people with the goal “established of equitable,
healthy and self-reliant society”.
Currently, KIDS has general members represented by Dalit, Women,
Janjati, Madhesi, Muslims, socially excluded groups with
executive committee.

Objective of NGO
 Providing the awareness about the sanitation, conservation of
Environment, safe drinking water and toilet construction.

 Behavior change communication to migrants & spouses on TB & HIV

 Lobbing and advocacy against stigma and discrimination associated to
HIV and AIDS

 Support revolving fund to poor, women, Dalits for income generation

activities i.e. production of high value of crops, goat farming, pig
farming, small enterprises & agro-based enterprises promotion.

 Technical assistance to community organization to prepare and

Rural areas, school building and irrigation facility.
 SANITATION AND CONSERVATION OF
ENVIRONMENT

INTRODUCTION

The process of improving or maintaining the standard of basic

environmental conditions affecting the well-being of people.
These conditions include (1) clean and safe water supply, (2) clean
and safe ambient air, (3) efficient and safe animal, human, and
industrial waste disposal, (4) protection of food from biological
(safe surroundings. This is also called environment hygiene.

Problem Identification in the school area

I have researched about 4 schools including the private as well as

government schools but I came to know that government school
is the best school to spread knowledge and awareness and also to
complete the project about sanitation and conservation of
environment because in the government’s school. They are:-
 Careless about the hygiene
 Mismanagement about rules and regulation about the
sanitation
 Mostly government schools are situated in the rural. So
there are not aware about to construction of the toilet and
also plastic garbage.
 Mostly government focuses on the sanitation and hygiene of
the school’s students.

So, I choose “Shree Sunshine community Basic School” by taking

suggestion with (SSDO & KIDS) NGO. Shree Sunshine Community
School is established on 2060B.S. There are 150 students in Shree
sunshine community school. Students of that school are from
village. They don’t know about personal hygiene and conservation
of environment.
So, some of the problems were identified in that school is
mentioned below:
 There is single toilet but which is not in good condition.
 Lack of clean water
 Lack of waste garbage container.
  Lack of personal hygiene.
 Lack of the sanitation to their surroundings.
 Lack of awareness about their environment.
 Lack of hygienic food.
 There is not basic requirement of cleanliness.

Objective to be achieved:

The main objective is to be achieved this target by providing

knowledge and aware the student about importance of sanitation
and environment. I choose only students because students are
pillar of every nation. If the student is aware about sanitation and
precise of environment then they can also aware their upcoming
future generation through their acquired knowledge. My main
objective to be achieved is mentioned in the point:
 Forest conservation: Forest plays the vital role in the
conservation of environment. The ministry forest and soil
conservation has launched various programmes for the
conservation of environment.
 Pollution control: pollution must be controlled by prohibiting
the unrepaired vehicles and burning the plastics.
 Providing the impacts of the degradation of environment.
  Providing the knowledge to the students sanitation as well as
neighbor.
 Providing information about bad effect about the chemical
fertilizers and pesticides.

Various Steps taken to achieve the objectives

I have taken various steps to achieve the objectives are mentioned

below:-
1) First step, I taught students about important cleanliness,
personal hygienic and conservation of environment.
2) I have attended the seminar of the Adani foundation. So, I
taught about “Hygiene Traffic Light Chart” to the students.
Hygiene Traffic light chart is daily basis chart which shows
the daily sanitation condition of the toilet, surrounding,
hygienic foods and greenery of the school. It is indicates
from different color. i.e. red, green, yellow, light blue
Red color: it indicates the danger and it have take
immediate action.
Green color: it indicates the good condition.
Yellow color: it indicates the average condition.
Light Blue color: it indicates to improve some areas.

3) I taught them about their personal hygienic.

4) And also make them know various steps to washing their
hands after toilet and before eating foods.
5) There are five steps to wash hands are mentioned below:
 Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or
cold) and apply soap.
 Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the
soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your
fingers, and under nails.
 Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.
 Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
 Dry your hands using a clean towel or clean soft cotton
clothes.
6) I taught to the students about how to the conservation the
environment.
7) How to clean their schools as well as applied same
knowledge to clean their village areas.
8) I also practically involved with students in fields.
9) Make them know about degradable non-degradable
materials and separate the degradable and non-degradable
waste materials.
10) Dig the soil and disposed degradable into soil, cover its
with soil and do not use chemical liquids into soil or spray
and insecticide into atmosphere environment.

 Effectiveness of the Project
As i worked on the project of awareness about the sanitation and
conservation of environment. I worked on every parameter which will
help the students to take care about their personal hygienic and their
surroundings. Usually it takes a month and every day one hour to
crawl down the problem. It will show effect and help the students in
their day to day life with their effective knowledge. They also make
aware their neighbor. I said to the students to make up your mind with
this Nepali slogan to them, “Na Fohar Garxu Na Fohar garna Deenxu”.
It means that I will not pollute and I will not make other to pollute.

 CONCULSION

I want to thank Ms. Kamala Shukla and Mr. shivlal Yadav

for giving me opportunity to help share my knowledge with
the students. I hope my work will help the students to apply
in their daily life and also aware their upcoming generation.
In my opinion is that the Government of Nepal should
lunched awareness program sanitation and conservation of
environment in the rural as well as urban areas because
everyone must be responsible to protect their environment
and themselves for upcoming disasters and diseases. It
should be placed on educational institutions and there
should be implemented sanitation and environment related
courses in their program in every part of the world. It will be
effective for every country. After completing the project, I
gain experience and knowledge from different higher
authorities. I learn how to interact with people and students
and convinced them.
