Humanistic approach and Autism Spectrum disorder:-
Humanistic approach does not suggest any clue about the causes of
autism spectrum disorder but this approach treat every individual as
different from another individual and a unique individual and we can
treat it through this approach to reduce its severity. As humanistic
approach gives value to the the human personal strengths and suggest
that we will study or treat a person as a whole. By this it means that we
will take in account each and every aspect of the individuals symptoms
to fully or successfully treat this disorder. Client centerd therapy is a
good and useful therapy that works on this approach.

Cognitive explanation of autism spectrum disorder :

Mnesic imbalance theory is cognitive theory and it suggests that the
diagnostic symptoms of autism may be caused by a cognitive defect
caused by imbalance between a faulty memory and a relatively
perceived declarative memory. In other words, most of the symptoms
of autism can be seen as attempts to compensate for the disability in
procedural learning , while sensory distress and other symptoms can be
directly explained by faulty memory.
