Relationship between Family Support and Knowledge of Post-Stroke Patients

Against Compliance with Rehabilitation at the RSSN Bukittinggi Medical
Rehabilitation Installation in 2018

ABSTRACT

The high rate of disability caused by stroke requires an effort to minimize

the disability with rehabilitation. The purpose of this study to was to determine the
strength and direction of the relationship between family support and knowledge
of post-stroke patients to adherence attended rehabilitation at the Bukittinggi
RSSN Medical Rehabilitation Installation in 2018. This type of research is a
correlation with a cross sectional approach using the spearman correlation test,
the number of samples is 45 respondents with accidental sampling. Data
collection was conducted in October 2018 to January 2019. Data collection using
questionnaires by means of guided. The results of the study indicate (p=0,000)
that there is a strong relationship and positive (r=0,612) direction between
informative support and compliance, that there is (p=0,000) a very strong
relationship and positive (r=0,804) direction between assessment support and
compliance, that there is (p=0,000) a strong relationship and positive (r=0,701)
direction between emotional support and compliance, that there is (p=0,000) a
very strong relationship and positive (r=0,660) direction between instrumental
support and compliance and there is (p=0,000) a moderate relationship and
positive (r=0,513) direction between knowledge ann compliance. It is expected
that the officers at the Bukittinggi RSSN Medical Rehabilitation Installation can
complete the documentation of visits of post-stroke patients who attend
rehabilitation and can facilitate respondents in hospital transfers.

Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dan Pengetahuan Pasien Pasca Stroke

Terhadap Kepatuhan Mengikuti Rehabilitasi di Instalasi Rehabilitasi
Medik RSSN Bukittinggi Tahun 2018

ABSTRAK

Tingginya angka kecacatan yang diakibatkan oleh stroke maka

diperlukanya suatu upaya untuk meminimalkan kecacatan tersebut dengan
rehabilitasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kekuatan dan arah hubungan
dukungan keluarga dan pengetahuan pasien pasca stroke terhadap kepatuhan
mengikuti rehabilitasi di Instalasi Rehabilitasi Medik RSSN Bukittinggi tahun
2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional
menggunakan uji korelasi spearman. Jumlah sampel 45 responden dengan teknik
accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada Oktober 2018 sampai
Januari 2019. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan cara wawancara
terpimpin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan (p=0,000) yang kuat
dengan arah positif (r=0,612) antara dukungan informatif dengan kepatuhan,
terdapat hubungan (p=0,000) yang sangat kuat dengan arah positif (r=0,804)
antara dukungan penilaian dengan kepatuhan, terdapat hubungan (p=0,000) yang
kuat dengan arah positif (r=0,701) antara dukungan emosional dengan kepatuhan,
terdapat hubungan (p=0,000) yang kuat dengan arah positif (r=0,660) antara
dukungan instrumental dengan kepatuhan dan terdapat hubungan (p=0,000) yang
sedang dengan arah positif (r=0,513) antara pengetahuan dengan
kepatuhan.Diharapkan kepada petugas di Instalasi Rehabilitasi Medik RSSN
Bukittinggi untuk dapat melengkapi dokumentasi kunjungan pasien pasca stroke
yang mengikuti rehabilitasi serta dapat memfasilitasi responden dalam antar
jemput kerumah sakit.
