Existing Malaysian Students (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) 1008
Pursuant to the recent announcement made by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) on
allowing existing students back to campus starting October 2020, students wishing to do so are
reminded that they are required to adhere to all the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) set by
government and University authorities when planning and performing journey to Malaysia as well
as when in the campus.
2. E-LEARNING
Though the students are allowed to be back on campus, but given the current health situation,
UM will continue conducting its teaching & learning activities via e-Learning at least until 31
December 2020 (please go to https://umacademic.um.edu.my/news/reminder-elearning for
further updates on e-Learning). Students who do not wish to return to Malaysia may continue
their studies from the location they are currently residing.
3. ONLINE REGISTRATION
To also accommodate the current situation, University will provide an online registration
platform through MAYA2 portal for Semester I, 2020/2021 academic session. The online
registration is scheduled based on the revised 2020/2021 Academic Calendar. Full calendar is
available at https://aasc.um.edu.my/academic-calendar. The students have the option not to
be physically present during the registration process. The important registration dates are as
below.
