RE: CONTESTING WATER BILLS

Gentlemen:

I am writing on behalf of my client, ALFREDO TAN (“CLIENT”), regarding the excessive

water consumption billing.

The following are the account details of my CLIENT:

Contract Account No. : 66216822

Account Name: ALFREDO TAN
Rate Class: Residential
Business Area: Paranaque

Based on the Statement of Accounts for the months of June and July 2020 received by my
CLIENT, attached as Annexes “A” and “B” hereof, the total amount due : P151,175.90 and
P169,363.37, respectively.

My CLIENT payments’ history for the past months and years, the regular water
consumption billing based on the previous statements of account are less than P1,000.00. A copy
of the statements of account and bank payments are hereby attached as Annexes “C”, “D”, “E”
and “F” hereof.

Hence, a billing statement from less than P1,000.00 monthly and bloated excessively and
unreasonably to more than P160,000.00 are indeed a clear manifestation of erroneous reading by
the water meter reader and billing by your office.

We would like to dispute and contest the said water billing statements as proven by our
attached previous billings for the past months. To further note, my CLIENT is more than 70 years
old and only three (3) of them residing at home, and my CLIENT cannot withstand longer any
stress and anxiety caused by the thought of paying enormous amount in the billings.

We greatly appreciate if you respond and resolve immediately this concern. Thank you very
much.
