1. Are opportunities for prayer and meditation available or practicable for everyone? How often do you
do these?

- Yes, the opportunities for prayer and meditation are available to every one of us because no matter
what religion you have, you still tend to communicate with you own God through praying and of course
meditating which can be done any time and anywhere. It s a medium for us, humans, to talk to God and
it is considered to be one of the most important things a person can do. It is a time for us to have a deep
conversation with God and it should be taken very seriously. While there is deep theological meaning in
prayer, it doesn’t have to be complicated and difficult. I do pray every night before I sleep and every day
when I woke up since it is my chance to thank him for another day of living.

2. Think of occasions for reaching up to God through prayer. Make a list of these occasions(at least 2)

-The first occasion for reaching up to God through prayer would be asking for forgiveness of the bad
things that I have done throughout the day. I usually confess my sins unto him asking for forgiveness for
the persons who've I stepped into and for the bad deeds that I have done since I know that my
conscience will not let me sleep unless I confess these things upon him and ask for his forgiveness.

- Another circumstance for reaching up to God through prayer would be asking for his assistance. These
are the times when I go out and do some things outside our house like going to the city with my friends
or family to ask for his guidance that in everywhere we go, he will be there to protect us and guide us
for us to be away from harm.

3. How do you show that you value these opportunities for cultivating a closer relationship with God?

- I show the value of cultivating a closer relationship with God through spreading the words of God and
sharing the importance and power of praying to other people especially students since I was a member
of the Christ's Commission Fellowship in the City of San Fernando La Union whom I was once assigned to
share the gospels of God and share the importance of having a close relationship with God to some
students of La Union National High School.

4. Cite at least 2 circumstances when you think God answered your prayer

- The first circumstance that I know God answered my prayer would be giving my father another chance
of living a longer life since my father before was once a drunkard who often gets drunk that in every
morning I woke up, I always see him drinking liquor and eventually getting drunk and with these
situations my father was hospitalized due to some complication in his liver and lungs due to smoking
cigarette. With these, I prayed to our Almighty God that he will survive and having another chance of
living and through this prayer, he later stopped his vices from that day until today.
- Another circumstance when I know that God answered my prayer would be my recovery from a deadly
sickness caused by mosquito bites which caused me to have severe dengue twice which I was diagnosed
in the hospital for how many days or weeks. With these situations, I have tried to reach out with God
through prayer and asking for his help that he will heal me from my illness.
