Riley Andersen – “bundle of joy”-dad; She is a loving daughter and sporty
Mom – Supportive and understanding Dad – hardworking and authoritative Meg – Best friend of Riley, she loves hockey and fun to be with that’s why Riley enjoys her company Pizza guy – Emotionless 2.How do the characters show their positive and negative feelings? First of all Sadness is a Gloomy character but at the end of the story she appears to have an important role and that is to listen and comfort other by sharing with their emotion. Anger is the Short tempered but all he wants is to fair. Joy is Optimistic and Energetic but because of that she refuses to have the suggestions of other emotions, for me she’s being selfish I know that she wants Riley to be happy but everything should be balance. Fear is Paranoid but he just wants Riley to be safe. Disgust is Perfectionist but she’s honest. Bingbong is Riley’s Imaginary friend he is Kind. He refuses the chance of being with Riley’s imagination by sacrificing. Lastly, Riley is a very positive person, she is fun and jolly but she is scared to tell her parents the truth about their new house, that she misses their life in Minnesota. She acts like its okay because she is the family’s happy girl. 3.What feelings are dominant in the characters? Riley is a jolly person not until Fear, Disgust and Anger takes place of joy’s job to maintain Riley’s emotional state 4.Which characters attempt to block the expressions of particular feelings? How do they do so? Do you find yourself blocking feelings consistently? Joy tries to block Riley’s real feelings (sadness) by finding fun in every situation for example when Riley feels lonely Joy will flash happy memories. Joy constantly blocks Riley’s real emotion to the point that She can’t speak her mind up. Yes, I’m constantly blocking my feelings. Actually everyone knows me as a jolly person in and outside the school so my friends and family are used of me smiling every time that’s why whenever I’m sad I can’t tell them my problem because they might laugh at me thinking that I’m just joking. I’m scared of opening my feelings to other because I don’t want them to implicate in my own problems.
