Topic Comparative as… as Week: 6

primera instancia y dependiendo el caso, vía telefónica, whatsApp o google
meet, según horario establecido. Lo más importante, la actitud positiva que
usted le ponga para desarrollar el trabajo y recuerde quedarse en casa! Ser

I. EXPLANATION:

✔ We use as + adjective/adverb + as to show two things are equal.

The world’s biggest bull is as big as a small The apple is as heavy as the orange (is).

✔ We use not as … as to show two things are unequal.

Rory hasn’t grown as tall as Tommy yet. She’s not singing as loud as she can.
II. PRACTICING: re-write the sentences by using “as…as” comparisons. Use
“not” when necessary.

Example: MY BROTHER IS TWENTY YEARS OLD

Australia isn´t as big as Canada.

I am very as tired as Kevin.

England isn´t as colder as Iceland.

This chair is as expensive as that chair.

Wendy isn´t as lazier as Andrew.

“as…as”. Use not when necessary.
