FACTUAL VS. NON-FACTUAL

TEST 1: If, when two people disagree about an issue, one of them has to
be wrong, the issue is a FACTUAL one. On the other hand, if we can
disagree and both be right, the issue is NONFACTUAL.

TEST 2: If methods or criteria can be described for settling an issue, the


issue is a factual issue.

This board is 7 ½ feet long.

People shouldn’t eat junk food while watching TV.

Classical music is great, except for baroque.

Kathleen is a fantastic tennis player.

Henry has the most beautiful hair.

The sun goes around the Earth.

Nancy is the happiest person I have ever met.
