Course Objectives:
The objective is to familiarize the students with the aspects of scheduling, planning and control of operations in an organization for enabling economic
utilization of resources with regard to changing market dynamics over the planning horizons. The aim is to instil sharper understanding about the economics of
trade-off in outlaying an optimized capacity toward delivering competitive products and services nationally and worldwide in right quality, right quantity, at
right time.

Pre-requisites:
The student should have a preliminary understanding of Production and Operations Management Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques in
Management
