CODE OF ETHICS

1) Officials shall provide guidance to the participants to ensure that they meet the all
required standards before the competition.
2) Officials shall be responsible for ensuring that the game is played safely and fairly during
the competition.
3) Officials shall remain professional after the competition to prevent trouble with the
participants.
4) Officials shall remain calm and settle complaints by the athlete and coaches to refrain
from any form of trouble/abuse.
5) Officials shall talk to each other officials to decide how they will settle things or what
penalty should be applied.
6) Officials shall respect the rights of the coach to complain and explain things in a calm
way.
7) Officials shall focus on the competition regardless of the loud surroundings.
8) Officials shall not accept any form of bribery and shall be aware of their actions as they
are officiating the competition.
9) Officials shall know the rules and regulations and abide by the rules of the competition as
well as the athletes and coaches.
10) Officials shall be courageous and accept criticism from the athletes, coaches and
spectators and to avoid any form of trouble/harm.

CODE OF CONDUCT

1) Officials should ensure that all the requirements like jersey, equipment, weight etc are
being followed on or before the game.
2) Officials should be honest and not bias on any teams, officials must think about the
safety of athletes from injuries and call/decide penalties according to the rules and
regulations of the game.
3) Officials should avoid conflicts and must stay away from the athletes, coaches and
spectators to avoid any form of harm/trouble after the game.
4) Officials should understand the complaints from the athletes/coaches and talk in a
respectful manner.
5) Officials should watch the replay and talk/listen to other officials to decide the
appropriate penalty to be applied to the athletes/coaches/spectators.
6) Officials should listen attentively to the athletes/coaches if necessary to know and
explain in a professional manner.
7) Officials should prepare themselves and never participate in any form of trouble/harm
with the spectators.

8) Officials should avoid accepting gifts, large amounts of money, favors, jobs and other
forms of bribery from management teams, athletes and coaches.
9) Officials should master the rules and regulations of the sports and be consistent to
execute the right rules and regulations
10) Officials should accept and not to talk with the athletes/coaches/spectators after the
game as some of them are inviting trouble.
