Installing the DDJ Updater

1. You should have already downloaded and unzipped the update file from denondj.com to your computer
(EX: “Desktop”).

2. If using a PC, please jump to step 4.

3. If using a MAC, please copy the DDJ Updater.app to your Desktop. And then please jump to 12.

Copy to your Desktop.

4. Double click the DDJUpdater-2.0.msi

5. Click Next.

6. Check the “I Agree” to the terms of the license agreement, and Click Next.

7. Select the Installation Folder, and Click Next.

8. Click Next.

9. Click Next.

10. The Setup Status bar appears.

11. Click Close.

Uploading the MC6000MK2 System Software

12. Connect MC6000MK2 to PC with USB cable.

13. Pressing (BACK+FWD+SHIFT) at the same time, then turn on MC6000MK2. (see fig.1)

14. MC6000MK2 will enter the version up mode. CUE-1 will light.

15. If using a MAC, run the copied "DDJ Updater” program from desktop of MAC.
If using a PC, run the "DDJ Updater” program from desktop shortcut of PC.

Connected device will be shown in “Device Desc.” window

16. Click the File menu. And click Open. Select the latest firmware file from the package downloaded via
denondj.com.

18. The Setup Status bar appears.

The MC6000MK2 indicates state of updating.

23. When the ‘version up’ is finished the MC6000MK2 will return to its normal operation mode automatically. If
the update fails the message "Version up was not completed." will be displayed, in this instance select
"Execute" again.

Erorr message & trouble shooting

(1) MC6000MK2 is not connected to PC or MC6000MK2 is not in the upgrade mode. Please try again step 12.

(2) If the file version is not loaded "File is not ready." is displayed. Please try again step 16.

[Caution]
During the loading and upgrading the power OFF and set, PC or please do not remove the cable connection.
Also, please press the button of a keyboard and computer sets.
