Valentines Teddy Bear

Materials and Tools
 Yarn: 1 or more color of yarn calling for 2,5 mm needles. I use soft cotton№8 for white
bear and merino wool for bruin teddy bear, leftover soft cottons yarn.
Change of colors are only advices, you can choose your own color patterns.
 Crochet hook: 2,5 mm
 Stuffing material: I use polyester wool and a chopstick to stuff the doll.
 Tapestry needle, scissors.
•Plastic safety eyes 5.00 mm (Do not forget to place them before finishing the head).
 Dark thin yarn or thread to embroider the eyelashes.
Abbreviations
mr = Magic ring
ch = Chain
st = Stitch
slst = Slip 1 stitch
sc = Single crochet
() = Parentheses are used for repeated patterns of stitches, example: (sc 2, inc) x3
means repeat 3 times (2 simple crochet and one increase).
inc = 2 sc in the same stitch

from inside to outside and pick up loop of left part (fig 31). Now your parts of heart are
connected. Make 1 ch, then insert hook in stitch on right part and crochet first stitch of new

- Sew the legs to body. Insert your needle across stitch of body (fig 2), then insert it under
back loop of leg and next stitch of body.
