Day 1
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world,
you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a
craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our
achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this
world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave.
But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. 1 John 2 : 15-17

My God,
Thank You for Your Promises. Help me to cling on to You during this difficult
time in my life. Help me to see Your love and feel Your peace. I need to rest in
You. Calm my mind. Amen.

Jesus,
Thank You for dying for me! You laid down your life for mine. You are a good
Father who pursues me, to the ends of the earth. Thank You for chasing after
me. Help me to be passionate about pursuing You every day, too. Show me the
way to go from here. Amen.

Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of
witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and
let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us Hebrews 12 : 1

Father,
Thank You for Your way. I feel lost right now, but You know the way I should
go. Your way is the best way, even when it is a difficult and narrow path, I can
trust that You hold what is best for me. Guide me to people that will help me
along the way, so I do not feel so alone. Amen.

Counselor,
Fix my eyes on You. I know where my help comes from. You will help me keep
going. You long for me to be this reliant on You every day. Help me to see You
as my lifeline. With You, I can do it. Remind me that I already have victory in
Jesus. Amen.

My Lord,
Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I am so weak. You hear my
cries and know how hard this is. I trust in You. Show me how to lean on You
now, so I can feel Your strength and keep going. Amen.
