A 190 hp, 3-phase, 6-pole, 480 V, 60 hz induction motor draws 105 A line current at full load speed of
1020 rpm and 0.92 pf. Solve for the percent slip at full load.

A 40 hp, 3-phase, 4-pole, 300 V, 50 hz, induction motor operating at 0.83 efficiency, 0.88 pf and 3 percent
slip, drives a water pump. Determine the current at which the motor is operating.

A 3-phase induction motor has a 4-pole star-connected stator winding. The motor runs on a 50 Hz supply with 370
V between lines. The rotor resistance and standstill reactance per phase are 0.13 Ohm and 0.61 Ohm respectively.
The ratio of the rotor to stator turns is 0.64. Calculate the torque, in Newton-meters, at 20% slip.

a transformation ratio of 3.7 (stator/rotor). The rotor resistance is 0.1 Ohm per phase and its per phase
leakage inductance is 3.42 mH. The stator impedance may be neglected. Find the starting current on
rated voltage with short-circuited slip rings.

A 6-pole, 3-phase, 50 Hz induction motor is running at full-load with a slip of 4.1%. The rotor is star-connected and
