From 2020 parents and guardians will not be charged a tablet fee. Technology provision, support and
services will be included in the school fees. Parents and guardians will still need to purchase devices and
textbooks (hard copy and/or e-books) in accordance with the school model.

 PAYMENT METHODS 2020

Method 1 Annual payment in advance, due by 31 January 2020.

Debit-order payments, which can be scheduled monthly in advance x 12 months on the 2nd,
16th or 26th of each month. Payments made on the 26th of each month will be for the
Method 2 following month’s school fees. Payments made on the 2nd and 16th of each month are for
the current month’s school fees. Current account holders’ debit orders will be adjusted
accordingly to reflect the 2020 fees
Internet payments, due monthly in advance on or before the second day of each month x 12

MyHub credit-card payments, due monthly in advance on or before the second day of each
Method 4 month x 12 months.

Please note that no cash will be accepted at the school. Credit-card facilities are available

YOUR FAMILY CODE IS REQUIRED AS THE REFERENCE FOR ALL PAYMENTS.

DEBIT-ORDER COMPLETION

Please complete a debit-order form and deliver it by hand to the school’s bursar before 30 November
2019. The form is available from the school and on the Curro website at www.curro.co.za.

1. School fees

School fees for 2020 exclude the following:

• The e-learning device (tablet) and any insurance, maintenance or other costs relating to the device
itself
• All textbooks and learning materials (including the cost of e-books)
• School uniforms
• Additional stationery that may be required
• Entrance fees, travel costs, accommodation and food for school excursions and sports trips (unless
otherwise advised by the school)
• Therapists’ or psychologists’ fees

2. Aftercare fees

Aftercare fees for 2020 include the following:

• One meal per day
• Supervision
• Limited homework support

Aftercare fees for 2020 exclude the following:

• Specialist subject and homework support

3. E-learning devices (tablets)

E-learning devices (tablets) will be utilised by all learners from Grade 8 to Grade 9.

This will have the following impact on you:

• If your child is in Grade 8 to Grade 9, you will be responsible for purchasing an e-learning device
(tablet) for your child to use. The school will provide you with details and the minimum
specifications required for the device.
• You will be responsible for the insurance and general maintenance and care of the device.
