Accessing Microsoft Teams
The two easiest ways of accessing Microsoft Teams are through the App that
is free to download on the App Store and the Google Play store, or by
accessing Microsoft Teams through glow.
If you use the App on a mobile device, you will be promoted to sign into
your school google account. This is an important step as you want to ensure
you are not trying to sign in with an account linked to your mobile device.
The email you should use to sign into the Microsoft Teams should be as
follows: gw(number)(surname)(first-name)@glow.sch.uk
If you decide to take the alternative route and sign in through Glow, see the
following pictures, for a step by step guide of how to add Microsoft Teams to
your Launch Pad.

How Microsoft Teams Works
The posts section is where teachers and students are able to share anything.
Assignments will also appear here.
It is also important that you press ‘hand in’ on the assignment as this allows
teachers to see where you are in regards of progressing through the work
set. It must also be noted that your work is only visible to the teacher and
not other pupils in the team unless you’re using the class notebook.
Note, unlike in Google Classroom, normally your teacher will attach a piece
of work for you to work on (e.g. a word document will be attached and you
should open this and write in it), otherwise you can also attach a piece of
work when you are going to submit it.

Dictate
Dictate is a program that aids those with dyslexia. It allows users to speak
(dictate) what they wish to be written on the page instead of typing it. To
access it, create a new Microsoft Word document
